Brett Calo is an LA-based actor, singer, director, and casting director. He was born and raised in the Boston area and graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Film and Television Production. He then went on to get his MFA in Acting from UCLA.

November 2022 - Played Logan in a staged reading of the original musical Missing Peace with Native Voices at Musical Theater West

November 2022 - Played Aqui in the staged reading of A Blythe Visitation by M.J. Kang at Company of Angels

October 2021 - March 2022 - Chandler Bing Replacement in Friends! the musical National Tour. Promoted from Gunther/Male Swing

May 2021 - Acted in staged readings with Ensemble Theatre Company’s Young Playwright’s Festival

October 2020 - Played the role of Connor in a virtual production of Class of 2020, written by Lisa Loomer, directed by Armando Molina, and produced by Company of Angels

February 2020 - Played Robert Martin in Emma, a new musical adaptation by Paul Gordon based on Jane Austen’s novel, at the Ensemble Theater in Santa Barbara, CA

June 2019 - present - Provides English voices for a variety of Netflix shows in collaboration with Encore Voices

May 2019 - Played Michael Donnelly in Quantum, a new play by Tara Moses, at the Autry Theatre (LA) and La Jolla Playhouse. This was presented as part of the Native Voices 25th Annual Festival of New Plays

February 2019 - Played Rolf Gruber in The Sound of Music (dir. Andy Ferrara) at the Atwood Concert Hall through the Anchorage Concert Association and Plan-B Entertainment

December 2018 - Played Yeoman Herbert Quale and a tenor soloist in South Pacific (dir. Katharine Farmer) at the Rubicon Theatre Company in Ventura, CA

October 2018 - Acted in Billi Sarafina's short film "Token," which won best film at the AT&T Create-a-thon
